The Red Poppies collection has been designed for the Australian War Memorial. The Memorial’s purpose is to commemorate the sacrifice of those Australians who have died in war. Its mission is to assist Australians to remember, interpret and understand the Australian experience of war and its enduring impact on Australian society. Illustrated by leading botanical artist Jenny Phillips, who perfectly captured the reverence of the Flanders Poppy. The Poppy is an internationally recognised symbol of remembrance and brings inspiration and hope through its use a memorial flower to raise funds for those who have suffered as a result of war.
